A privately owned nature reserve situated in the beautiful Kamberg Valley of the Central Drakensberg. The lodge is home to no less than 7 endangered species, namely the Bearded Vulture.
For bird enthusiasts and photographers alike this lodge is a haven for those seeking a tranquil escape to enjoy the stunning birds that the Drakensberg has to offer. The endangered Bearded Vulture is a bird that is commonly seen
here and we have a vulture kitchen specifically targeted at supplementing the Bearded Vultures unique feeding requirements.
The rare Bush Blackcap is also another species that nest in our indigenous forests.
 
Recommended either a night or two considering other birding activities and destinations within close proximity.
