Leopard are spotted on the odd occasion. No lions are found in Cape Vidal.

In the afternoon we board the St Lucia Estuary for our sunset cruise, where one will be able to view hippopotami, crocodiles, mangrove swamps and prolific bird life. This cruise is approximately 2 hours.

The Drakensberg Mountains (Berg)
(1-2 nights)
Due to the beauty of this magnificent mountain range and what it has to offer guests, its suggested one considers either an overnight, two-night stay or longer. The main mountain range rises to more than 11,400 feet (3,475 metres) and extends roughly northeast to southwest for 1,125 km, with the tallest peak at 3,500m, the highest in Southern Africa. Rock and cave art several thousands of years old has been found in the range, with between 35,000 and 40,000 bushman rock paintings found. The Drakensberg is famous for its hiking routes, trails spectacular ancient rock art sites reflecting the beliefs of the indigenous San people. The mountains are also home to many nature reserves with waterfalls and abundant wildlife.
The Drakensberg does not only offer the above but numerous beautiful places to stay making it a popular destination for holiday makers.

Birding Tours 1 – 3 nights
KwaZulu- Natal has over 650 recorded species of birds, a birders haven with numerous places within the vast Zululand region to visit.
Bird species vary according to locations which is why it’s important I know what you are hoping to see, allowing me to plan your tours accordingly, taking into consideration time, distance and accommodations.
Time or budget may be a concern, so for the short overnight or longer tours, special birding destinations, with specialised guides and accommodations have been established. In most instances, I arrange a specialised guide per location, due to their knowledge of the area and where to locate those sought-after lifers or rare birds we often want to see.
Please note that in the birding world, there are no guarantees in sightings, only hope.
